Stefon Diggs is heading into one of the biggest games of his career — but instead of just worrying about Super Bowl LX, the New England Patriots star wide receiver is now facing serious legal drama that could follow him far beyond the field.
Just days before the championship matchup, Diggs has been hit with a bombshell lawsuit accusing him of defamation, civil conspiracy, and being legally responsible for an alleged violent assault carried out by people in his inner circle. The lawsuit, obtained exclusively by TMZ, paints a troubling picture of betrayal, broken business relationships, and a nasty dispute that spiraled completely out of control.

At the center of the legal battle is a man who says he once worked closely with Diggs, handling logistics, transportation, and other high-level concierge services for the NFL superstar. According to the lawsuit, their professional relationship took a disastrous turn in July 2024 over Diggs’ luxury Ferrari — a high-end vehicle that was supposed to be moved from Miami to New York and then to Houston.
The plaintiff claims Diggs personally asked him to arrange the transport of the Ferrari, trusting him to oversee the complicated logistics of moving such an expensive and valuable car across multiple states. However, things went sideways when the Ferrari reportedly went missing in Houston.
Law enforcement later determined the vehicle had been stolen by third parties in what investigators described as a sophisticated theft operation. The plaintiff insists he had nothing to do with the disappearance of the car, never touched it improperly, and was never arrested, charged, or even formally investigated as a suspect in the case.
Despite that, he alleges Diggs began spreading word within his circle that the former associate was responsible for stealing the Ferrari — an accusation the plaintiff says is completely false, defamatory, and devastating to his reputation.
According to the lawsuit, Diggs didn’t just privately suspect him — he allegedly told multiple people in his network that the man had taken the car, effectively branding him a thief in elite social and business circles. The plaintiff claims this had serious real-world consequences, causing clients to distance themselves from him and damaging his high-end concierge and consulting business that depended heavily on trust and reputation.
But the legal drama doesn’t stop there.
The lawsuit claims that after Diggs began pushing this narrative, people close to the NFL star started confronting the plaintiff in aggressive and intimidating ways. He alleges that associates of Diggs approached him at upscale restaurants in both Houston and Miami, demanding answers about the Ferrari and accusing him directly of being responsible for its disappearance.
In one particularly alarming claim, the man says individuals connected to Diggs even showed up at his home, pressuring him to return gifts that Diggs had previously given him during their working relationship. The plaintiff describes these encounters as hostile, threatening, and deeply unsettling.

Adding fuel to the fire, the lawsuit includes text messages allegedly sent by Diggs in January 2025 in which the wide receiver wrote that he was “responsible and accountable for all actions of those around me.” The plaintiff argues this message suggests Diggs knew exactly what his associates were doing — and implicitly approved of their behavior.
Things allegedly reached a breaking point in December 2025 at Tootsie’s Cabaret, a popular strip club in Miami known for attracting celebrities, athletes, and high-profile personalities.
According to the suit, the plaintiff was at the club when two men from Diggs’ inner circle confronted him and violently assaulted him. He claims they beat him badly enough to cause serious physical injuries, including a torn ACL — a devastating injury that often requires surgery and months of rehabilitation.
Even more shocking, the lawsuit claims Stefon’s brother, Dallas Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs, was present during the alleged assault and watched it happen without intervening or trying to stop it.
Because of that, Trevon Diggs is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit, with the plaintiff arguing that by standing by and doing nothing, he bears some legal responsibility as well.
The suit accuses Stefon Diggs of defamation for falsely labeling the man a car thief, civil conspiracy for allegedly coordinating or encouraging intimidation tactics, and vicarious liability — meaning Diggs should be held legally responsible for the actions of the people in his circle who allegedly carried out the attack.

The plaintiff is seeking significant financial damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, lost business, and harm to his reputation.
Meanwhile, Stefon Diggs is in the midst of preparing for the Super Bowl with the Patriots — a moment that should be a career highlight, but is now overshadowed by this legal battle.
As of now, Diggs and his legal team have not publicly commented on the allegations. TMZ reached out for a statement, but so far, there has been no response.
With the biggest game of the season just around the corner and a lawsuit hanging over his head, Stefon Diggs finds himself in a high-stakes situation both on and off the field — and this legal fight could drag on long after the final whistle of Super Bowl LX.
