Jhonni Blaze (real name J’zapal Jackson, born June 10, 1990) is a singer-songwriter who plays six instruments, a former model, video vixen, reality TV star, and someone who’s been super open about turning pain into power. She went from being called the “Twerk Queen” back in the day to building her own independent music career while speaking out about human trafficking, mental health, addiction, and everything she’s overcome. Her main spot to connect with fans is her Facebook page—tons of music drops, real-life updates, and good vibes: https://www.facebook.com/RealJhoonniBlaze (over 2.5 million likes and always buzzing).
Where She’s From & Early Days

Born in New York (grew up in Jamaica, Queens, with some Georgia ties), she’s mixed African American and German. One of eight kids in a big family, she was playing piano in church as a little girl and ended up mastering piano, acoustic guitar, bass, violin, clarinet, and drums. She wanted to go to Juilliard but didn’t get in. Her teen years were rough—molestation, getting trafficked from 15 to 17, then dancing in Houston clubs once she was old enough. All of that shaped who she is now and why she’s so real about trauma and healing.
How She Blew Up

She first popped off as a video girl in the early 2010s—shot for King magazine, Hip Hop Weekly, and videos with Jim Jones, Chris Brown, Yung Berg, and more. Her twerk game earned her the “Twerk Queen” nickname quick. In 2015 she jumped on Love & Hip Hop: New York (Season 5) and brought all the drama, music dreams, and personality. Later she showed up on Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta too. People love her because she keeps it 100—no filter.
Her Music
Jhonni makes her own R&B/hip-hop, writes everything, plays her own instruments, and drops fire independently. Some of her biggest tracks:
- “What If I” (2025) — super emotional about being betrayed
- “Pressure” — that video has millions of views
- “Good 4 Mi” feat. Elephant Man (2025) — fun, high-energy reggae vibe
- “So Into You” with Trina
- “Don’t Break My Heart” feat. Method Man
- “Be Dat” — straight-up women empowerment anthem
Check her YouTube (@JhonniBlazeDuh, 214K subs) for the official videos—she’s always teasing new stuff, including a possible gospel-leaning EP coming from some heartbreak she’s been through.
Real Life Stuff
She’s been super honest about depression, anxiety, addiction, miscarriages, and wanting to be a mom. Lately (late 2025 into 2026) she had a scary health scare—passed out at home, had surgeries, and is changing how she eats and lives. She’s single right now, focusing on getting stronger, making music, and staying positive. She talks a lot about how God was “checking” her and how she’s growing spiritually.
