American Horror Story: 13 is approaching its finale. FX’s scheduled release on October 22, 2026 brought episodes 11 and 12 of the horror anthology’s 13-episode season, leaving one episode for the following week.
Disney and Hulu’s official guides list the season finale for Thursday, October 29, just before Halloween. The series premiered September 24 with three episodes and has released additional installments in groups across October.
A reunion built around the show’s past
Season 13 is framed as a crossover involving familiar people and settings from previous American Horror Story chapters. Its cast includes returning performers Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.
That history explains the attention around this installment: longtime viewers may recognize characters and references that are not necessarily obvious to someone watching the series for the first time.
How to watch in the United States
FX’s U.S. announcement says new episodes air Thursdays, with simultaneous access on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for eligible subscribers. The exact availability of individual episodes can differ by territory.
The two October 22 episodes are the last multi-episode release on the announced schedule. The standalone episode on October 29 is the intended final installment for the season.
What hasn’t been announced
An ending to Season 13 should not be mistaken for an announcement that the anthology itself has ended. Disney’s guide explicitly says there has been no confirmation that the thirteenth season will be the final season of the entire franchise.
This article focuses on verifiable scheduling and casting rather than spoilers, leaked plot points or claims about an unannounced next season.
