LISA returned with a new solo release on Friday, October 23, 2026: PRESS PLAY, a six-track EP issued through LLOUD Co. and RCA Records. Rather than treating the project as a conventional collection of tracks, the label is presenting it as an experience influenced by cinema, with distinct scenes and moods.
A video framed like a film
The release arrived with a music video for “Tarantino.” Sony Music’s October 23 announcement describes an action-oriented story in which LISA moves through a hotel trying to deliver a letter to the film director Quentin Tarantino. That is the video’s fictional concept, not a claim that the director is involved in the recording.
LISA’s previously released “SaWaDiKa” also appears on the project. Its title draws on a Thai greeting, and the accompanying video was shot in Bangkok, where the performer grew up. The connection gives listeners an unmistakable geographical and cultural thread rather than just another international pop campaign.
Thai identity in a global release
Her solo path has included music, fashion and television, with a role in the third season of The White Lotus. The new EP follows her album Alter Ego and arrives as she prepares for further live performances. Promotional material says a six-show Las Vegas engagement is planned for November, but exact availability should be checked with the venue.
The release comes in a busy year for BLACKPINK’s members and makes a specific argument about solo identity: LISA can maintain a global pop presence while pointing back to her beginnings in Thailand.
What is confirmed
The song titles, distribution and music-video premise are verifiable from the label’s announcement. Streaming counts or ticket-sales records can move quickly and are intentionally not presented here as independently audited facts.
